After both teams found themselves locked 7-7 in the third frame, Nevada erupted with nine straight points to open up a 16-7 edge. The Bison attempted to rally cutting the deficit down to six, 19-13, but the Wolfpack went on to steal the frame, 25-14.

Both teams exchanged points to begin the fourth set until NDSU was able to steal the momentum and open up a 18-14 edge following a service ace from Glover to force a Nevada timeout. The Bison kept their foot on the gas from there as Abby Stark also connected on a service ace to make the score 21-18. NDSU closed out the set, 25-21, and the match, 3-1.
