NDSU Women’s Golf Posts 15th Place Finish at the Coeur d'Alene Collegiate Invitational

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho – The North Dakota State women's golf team finished in 15th place at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational at Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course.
The Bison posted rounds of 305, 308 and fired a season-low third round score of 294 to finish with a total of 907 in 15th place. Hawaii won the tournament with a three-round score of 872. Sacramento State finished in second with a score of 873 and Gonzaga rounded out the top three with a score of 875.
Leah Skaar cracked the top 25 finishing tied for 25th place with a career-low three round score of 222. Lexi Geolat and Catherine Monty, who notched a career-best third round score of 70, both carded a three-round score of 232 to finish tied for 67th place. Elise Hoven finished one stroke back with a score of 233 and tied for 72nd place, while Maddie Herzog closed out the group with a score of 234 and was slotted tied for 76th place.
Skaar tallied a team-high nine birdies in the tournament. As a team, NDSU registered 158 pars and 30 birdies. The average score over the three-day tournament on the par 71 course was 75.77.
NDSU returns to action at the Stampede at the Creek at Indian Creek Golf Course in Omaha, Neb., on Oct. 4-5.
