FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. – North Dakota State freshman
Mason Kindel was the top finisher for the Bison men's cross country team at the Roy Griak Invitational on Friday morning, leading NDSU for the second time in three meets this season.
Kindel (Bismarck Century HS) placed 149th overall, completing the eight-kilometer race at Les Bolstad Golf Course in 26:56.3. Bison sophomore
Isaac Huber finished 164th in 27:11.3, and junior
Josh Samyn was 172nd with a time of 27:18.8 for the 8k.
NDSU freshman
Tyson Mahar (182nd place, 27:28.6) and sophomore
Jake Arason (185th place, 27:28.9) rounded out the team scoring for the Bison.
NDSU finished 21st in the team standings. BYU claimed the men's title.
The Bison will race next on Oct. 15 at the Bradley Pink Classic in Peoria, Ill.
