NDSU Women’s Golf Slotted Fourth After Day One at Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational

TACOMA, Wash. – The North Dakota State women's golf team is slotted in fourth place after day one at the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational at Tacoma Country and Golf Club.

The Bison assembled rounds of 297 and a season-low 291 for a total score of 588 and sit in fourth place in the 20-team tournament. Weber State (297-283--580) and Gonzaga (291-289--580) are tied for the top spot, while Santa Clara (293-289--582) is in third place.

Leah Skaar (74-69--143) paced the Bison tied for sixth place and is -1 after the first two rounds of play. The Gold Canyon, Ariz., native fired a career-low 69 in round two and connected on six birdies. Madi Hicks (76-71--147) also fired a season-low 71 in round two and is tied for 20th place.

Elise Hoven (73-75--148) is tied for 30th place, while Catherine Monty (74-80--154) is tied for 73rd place. Jo Baranczyk (84-76--160) closes out the group tied for 102nd place.

NDSU will wrap up the final round of play at the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational tomorrow.
