FARGO, N.D. - The North Dakota State football team had eight student-athletes named to the 2022 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Football Team on Tuesday, Nov. 22.

Brandon Westberg and defensive tackle
Will Mostaert.
The Academic All-District® team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. In addition to their athletic accomplishments, nominees must carry a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average and have sophomore athletic and academic standing.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First- and second-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in late December.
No. 3 seed North Dakota State (9-2) is scheduled to host either Southeast Missouri State (9-2) or Montana (7-4) in the second round of the NCAA Division I Football Championship next Saturday, Dec. 3. Tickets are on sale at
