2023 SEASON (SENIOR): Returned to NDSU for an extra year of eligibility due to COVID-19's impact on the 2020 season...Named first team All-America by Stats Perform...Selected to the second team by Phil Steele and FCS Football Central...Third team All-America by the Associated Press...All-Missouri Valley Football Conference first team...Started 14 games at right guard, missing the NCAA first round playoff win over Drake due to injury...Had a streak of 41 consecutive starts prior to the injury...Blocked for an offense that ranked fourth in the FCS averaging 237.3 rushing yards per game and led the nation in rushing yards (3,560), rushing touchdowns (47) and offensive touchdowns (69)...The Bison also ranked second nationally in passing efficiency, completion percentage and red zone scoring...MVFC Offensive Lineman of the Week for his performance in a key November win over Southern Illinois...Graded out at 90 percent with no sacks or tackles for loss while helping NDSU rush for 217 yards and four touchdowns, the most yards allowed by SIU's then No. 3-ranked defense in the FCS...Through 11 regular-season games, graded out at 92 percent overall with no sacks allowed and only three penalties...Selected as one of NDSU's six team captains...Voted to the MVFC Scholar-Athlete second team...Named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team...FCS Athletic Directors Association Academic All-Star...Finalist for one of two FCS ADA postgraduate scholarships.

2022 SEASON (SENIOR): Named third team All-America by FCS Football Central...Started all 15 games at right guard...Through 11 regular-season games, played 661 snaps with a 91 percent overall grade and was responsible for only two sacks and one holding penalty...NDSU ranked fourth nationally with 265.7 rushing yards per game, sixth in third-down conversions (50.6%), third in tackles for loss allowed and fifth in sacks allowed...Named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team...Fifth straight year on the Missouri Valley Football Conference Honor Roll...Selected to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society.

2021 SEASON (JUNIOR): Started all 15 games at right guard...Blocked for a rushing attack that ranked No. 2 in the FCS averaging 280.6 yards per game...NDSU averaged 6.21 yards per carry and rushed for 4,209 yards, the third most in school single-season history...Part of unit that collectively earned the MVFC's Offensive Lineman of the Week award for a 454-yard rushing performance at Youngstown State, the most rushing yards for the Bison in 14 years of MVFC play...Named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference Honor Roll for the fourth straight year.

2020-21 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Played in the first three games of the spring before missing the remainder of the season with a leg injury...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.

2019 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Reserve on the offensive line...Saw action in five games including the NCAA quarterfinal win over Illinois State...MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award and MVFC Honor Roll.

2018 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Took a redshirt year with the Bison and did not play in any games...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: 2018 graduate of Trinity High School...Three-year letterman and two-year starter for coach John Odermann...Two-time captain...All-conference first team as a junior...All-state first team as a senior...Helped the Titans to an 8-2 record and state semifinal appearance in 2017...Also competed in basketball and track...National Honor Society member.

PERSONAL: Graduated from NDSU in May 2022 with a bachelor's degree in sport management...Held an internship with Team Makers Club, an annual fundraising arm of the NDSU athletic department...Son of Monte and Susan Kubas...Father, Monte Kubas, was a defensive lineman at NDSU from 1991 to 1994...Older brother, Zach Kubas, was an offensive lineman for the Bison during his first two years in the program...Younger sister, Abbey Kubas, was a member of the NDSU women's basketball team during the 2021-22 season.
