The North Dakota State University women's and men's track & field teams will host the Dakota Alumni Classic this Friday, Dec. 2, at the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track & Field Facility on campus.
 
Multi-events competition will begin with the women's pentathlon 60m hurdles at 11:30 a.m. and the men's heptathlon at 12:30 p.m. Field events start with the men's weight throw at 1 p.m. and the women's pole vault and high jump at 3 p.m. Running events are scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. on the track and are expected to conclude by 7:30 p.m.
 
The men's heptathlon competition will conclude on Saturday, resuming at 10 a.m. that day.
 
Schools expected to compete with NDSU include North Dakota, MSU Moorhead, Concordia-Moorhead and Valley City State.
 
The NDSU women have won 14 of the past 15 Summit League indoor titles, while the NDSU men have won nine indoor championships in 15 years of league membership.
