MANHEIM, Penn. – The North Dakota State wrestling program is ranked in the NWCA Division I Wrestling Coaches Top 25 Poll for the first time since 2019, as the Bison come in at No. 19 in the first rankings of the season.

The Bison made the biggest early-season statement with its 20-16 upset of then-No. 8 Nebraska last Friday in Lincoln, the opening night of the season.

North Dakota State vaulted into the Top 25 for the first time since January 9, 2019 when they were ranked No. 23.

The Bison will not be in dual competition this week, but are set to host the annual Bison Open on Saturday at the Scheels Center. The first matches are slated for a 9 a.m. start.
