
NDSU’s Kelley, Pastian Named Summit League Peak Performers of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – NDSU sophomore sprinter Kendra Kelley and redshirt freshman thrower Kaden Pastian were named TicketSmarter Summit League Peak Performers of the Week for indoor track & field, the league office announced Tuesday.
Kelley (Cloquet, Minn.) opened the season with a personal-best 7.65 in the 60m dash, ranking seventh-fastest in Bison history. She also came back to win the 200m dash in 24.45 later in the meet – a time that ranks fifth in the NCAA this season after its conversion (24.08) from being run on a 200m flat track.
Pastian (Hillsboro, N.D.) threw a personal-best 63-5 (19.33m) to be the top collegian in the weight throw at the Dakota Alumni Classic. He ranks seventh in the NCAA early this season. Pastian also registered an indoor personal-best mark in the shot put.
