FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State women's track & field team continued to make significant progress through the indoor season on Saturday, turning in several key performances at the Bison Open.
Salmata Korgho, a second-year freshman from Fargo Davies HS, ran a 60m hurdles personal-best twice – clocking 8.69 in both the prelims and final – to win the event. She moved up to No. 6 on the NDSU all-time list.
NDSU senior
Kelby Anderson ran away with the 3,000m title, winning in 9:37.45 to lead The Summit League this season.
Senior thrower
Amanda Anderson registered a significant indoor shot put personal-best to be the top collegiate finisher in the meet. Her throw of 51-11 (15.82m) moved her up to seventh in NDSU indoor history and widened her gap as the Summit League leader.
NDSU's
Daejha Moss won the high jump title, clearing 5-06.50 (1.69m). Moss also took second place in the long jump.
Sophomore
Bonet Henderson won the 200m dash (25.71) and clocked a season-best 7.74 for second place in the 60m dash. NDSU freshman
Aaliyah Heine ran 7.75 in the prelims and took third in the final in 7.78.
Grace Emineth won the long jump with a personal-best mark of 19-02.00 (5.84m). Reigning conference champion
Jodi Lipp made her season debut, taking second in the triple jump (39-1 / 11.91m) and third in the long jump (18-10 / 5.74m).

Grace Link won the mile, running 4:59.19. Junior
Grace Brenner was the runner-up in the 400m dash in 58.51.
St. Francis, Minn., native Maggie Ewen – one of the top professional throwers in the world – shattered the NDSU facility record in the shot put at 62-05.25 (19.03m). She now stands among the Top 5 in the world this year.
