NDSU Women’s Golf Climbs to Eighth Place After Day Two at Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate

PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – The North Dakota State women's golf team moved up three spots on the leaderboard to eighth place after day two at the Golfweek/Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate at True Blue Golf Club.
The Bison have carded rounds of 307 and 308 for a two-round total of 615. Coastal Carolina remained in the top spot and is -10 with three holes to play in the second round. Coastal Carolina, Incarnate Word, SMU and South Alabama all have between three and one hole to finish tomorrow after round two play was suspended due to darkness.
Leah Skaar (75-70--145) paced the Bison firing a career-low 70 in round two, including four birdies to move up 17 spots on the leaderboard into tied for third place. Lexi Geolat (76-77--153) also climbed seven spots into the top 25 tied for 25th place.
Elise Hoven (77-82--159) and Jo Baranczyk (80-79--159) are both tied for 51st place, while Maddie Herzog (79-86--165) is positioned tied for 81st place. Catherine Monty (79-79--158) also competed as an individual and is slotted tied for 47th place.
