IRVING, Texas - The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced on Wednesday, April 13, the members of the 2022 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college career.
An elite group of 1,559 players from 313 schools qualified for membership in 2022, the society's 16th year. North Dakota State, which has been represented all 16 years, had seven student-athletes among the latest honorees: defensive tackles
Costner Ching and
Lane Tucker, defensive ends
Logan McCormick and
Brayden Thomas, linebackers
Jackson Hankey and
Mason Hofstedt, and kicker
Jake Reinholz.
Nominated by their respective schools, members of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society must have:
- Completed their final year of eligibility in fall 2021;
- Attained a minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.2 (on 4.0 scale);
- Met all NCAA/NAIA-mandated progress towards degree requirements; and
- Been starters or significant contributors throughout the 2021Â season.
