LONG BEACH, Calif. – The North Dakota State men's track & field team wrapped up four days of competition on Saturday in southern California.
Senior
Trevor Otterdahl took eighth in the hammer throw at the Mt. SAC Relays, throwing 215-0 (65.54m). He ranks among the top 25 performers in the nation this season.
At the Beach Invitational in Long Beach, Calif.,
Jens Christensen set a new outdoor personal-best in the pole vault, clearing 15-09.75 (4.82m).
Freshmen
Logan Mathieu (14.68) and
Brock Johnsen (14.73) both ran season-bests in the 110m hurdles.
Redshirt freshman
Symon Keiser ran a 1500m personal-best of 3:52.99, taking seventh place at the Beach Invitational.
Keiser Freetly was the top Bison in the 800m, finishing in 1:53.26.
Clayton Hannula placed seventh in the shot put with a throw of 57-2 (17.42m).
Levi Rockey threw a personal-best 158-8 (48.36m) in the discus, and Hannula added a personal-best of his own at 157-3 (47.94m) in the discus.
NDSU freshman
Braden Brown cleared a season-best 6-7 (2.01m) in the high jump at Long Beach State.
