Rodin Clocks Personal-Best Outdoor 800m at South Dakota

VERMILLION, S.D. – North Dakota State junior Jacob Rodin won the 800m to get the Bison men's track & field team started at the South Dakota Challenge on Thursday evening.
Rodin ran an outdoor personal-best 1:49.12 to take first in the 800m. After setting the indoor 800m school record this winter, he now ranks fourth-fastest in NDSU history outdoors.
NDSU's Beau Brannan (1:54.64) and Jackson Tracy (1:55.02) finished third and fourth, respectively, in the 800m.
Freshman Cullen Curl took second in the 400m hurdles, clocking 56.07.
The Bison will continue competition in Vermillion on Friday and Saturday.
