NDSU Women’s Golf Tied for 12th Place After Day One at the Hobble Creek Classic

SPRINGVILLE, Utah – The North Dakota State women's golf team is tied for 12th place following the first two rounds of play at the Hobble Creek Classic at Hobble Creek Golf Course.
The Bison (320-304--624) posted a two-round score of 624 and are tied with Lamar (313-311--624) for 12th place. Boise State (299-293--592) is in the top spot with a score of 592, while Portland State (305-298--603) is in second with a score of 603 and Weber State (303-301--604) is one stroke back in third place with a score of 604.
Catherine Monty (79-75--154) paces the Bison tied for 33rd place. Leah Skaar (81-74--155) is tied for 40th place, while Jo Baranczyk (81-76--157) is tied for 52nd place. Madi Hicks (79-79--158) is tied for 63rd place and Elise Hoven (82-81--163) is tied for 85th place.
Cora Larson (80-82--162) also participated as an individual and is tied for 81st place.
As a team, NDSU totaled 97 pars and 14 birdies. The average score over the first two rounds of play on the par 71 course was 78.63.
The Bison will wrap up play in the final round of the Hobble Creek Classic tomorrow.
