SPRINGVILLE, Utah – The North Dakota State women's golf team finished in 12th place at the Hobble Creek Classic on Tuesday afternoon at Hobble Creek Golf Course.
The Bison assembled rounds of 320, 304 and 302 for a three-round total of 926 to finish in 12th place at the 18-team tournament. Boise State (299-293-291--883) took the top spot with a score of 883. Weber State (303-301-297--901) finished in second place with a score of 901, while UC Davis (313-297-294—904) moved up four spots into third place with a score of 904.
Jo Baranczyk (81-76-73--230) moved up 22 spots on the leaderboard with a score of 230 to finish tied for 30th place.
Catherine Monty (79-75-78--232) came in tied for 39th place with a score of 232 and
Elise Hoven (82-81-72--235) finished tied for 51st place with a score of 235.
Leah Skaar (81-74-81--236) wrapped up play tied for 56th place with a score of 236, while
Madi Hicks (79-79-79--237) rounded out the group tied for 61st place with a score of 237.
Cora Larson (80-82-78--240) also participated as an individual and came in tied for 73rd place with a score of 240.
As a team, the Bison carded 136 pars and 29 birdies. The average score over three rounds of play was 78.54 on the par 71 course.
NDSU will be back in action next Monday at the Jackrabbit Invitational at Brookings Country Club.
