NDSU Cross Country Takes On Roy Griak Invitational Friday

The North Dakota State University men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota on Friday, Sept. 23.
The eight-kilometer Division I men's race will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Les Bolstad Golf Course, with the 6k women's race scheduled to start at 11:15 a.m.
The Bison have swept the team titles at both meets they have entered this season, winning at the UND Ron Pynn Classic on Sept. 2 and again at the Dragon Twilight on Sept. 9.
Zach Johnson, Hunter Klimek, Symon Keiser, Payton Smith and Jake Arason have made up the scoring five for the Bison men at both meets this fall, with Klimek and Keiser each leading the squad once. Kaleesa Houston, Allie Wahlund, Grace Link and Alexis Roehl have been the top runners for the NDSU women early this season, with Hope Pringle, Erin Valgardson and Kelby Rinas also factoring in.
