Madi Hicks have been named to the All-Summit League Women's Golf Second Team, the conference office announced on Friday morning.
Hoven earned the award for the first time in her career and posted a career-best and team-low 75.7 average over 29 rounds. The Grafton, Wis., native logged three top 10 finishes, including two in the top five. Hoven picked up her first career win at the NDSU Fall Invitational with a 36-hole total of 149. She also carded a career-low 54-hole total of 220 at the Grand Canyon Invite and finished tied for 26th place.
Hicks ranked second on the team with a 75.93 average over 29 rounds in her freshman season. She was tied for a team-high in top 10 finishes with four and closed the season with back-to-back finishes in the top 10. The Victoria, Minn., native posted a season-best tied for fifth place finish at the Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate with a season-low 54-hole total of 215, including a season-best 69 in round two.
