
Bison Women Finish Competition at South Dakota

VERMILLION, S.D. – The North Dakota State women's track & field team concluded competition Saturday at the USD Early Bird meet hosted by South Dakota.
Grace Emineth was the runner-up in the long jump with a mark of 19-08.75 (6.01m). Jenna Parent registered a new long jump personal-best with the same 19-08.75 (6.01m), placing third.
Daejha Moss cleared 5-5 (1.65m) in the high jump to place sixth.
Sophomore Brita Birkeland took sixth in the 400m dash in 59.01.
Freshman Sophia Truscott placed ninth in the heptathlon, scoring 4,226 points. Claire Howell finished 10th with 4,166 points.
Unattached Bison Annabel Thorstenson recorded a personal-best hammer throw of 173-11 (53.00m).
The Bison will travel to the Los Angeles area for a series of meets next week.
