RIVERSIDE, Iowa – The North Dakota State men's golf team opened the 2023-24 season on Tuesday with the first two rounds of the Iowa Fall Classic at the Blue Top Ridge and are currently in fourth place.
The Bison assembled rounds of 285 and 290 for a total score of 575 and sit in fourth place at the 13-team tournament. Iowa State (278-282—560) sits in first, while North Alabama (278-294—5772) is in second, and Iowa (283-290—575) in third.
Nate Adams (68-73—141) paced the Bison tied for eighth place and is -3 after the first two rounds of play.
Gavin Cronkhite (75-68—143) is tied for 11th place, while
Ian Simonich (71-75—146) is tied for 23rd place.
Jake Skarperud (71-78—149) is positioned tied for 37th place and
Jack Johnson (76-74—150) is tied for 42nd place.
Rylin Petry (75-80—155) closes out the group at 59th place.
