Jeran McNichols posted two of the top times in North Dakota State track & field history, as the Bison men started the 2025 indoor season at the SDSU Holiday Open on Friday.

Heinrich (Kindred, N.D.) ran a personal-best 7.92 for second place in the 60m hurdles, ranking No. 2 all-time at NDSU in the event.

In his collegiate debut, McNichols (Bismarck, N.D.) ran 6.76 in the 60m dash for third in the meet. He stands at No. 3 on the NDSU all-time list after just one meet as a Bison.

Cullen Curl (34.57) and
Blake Boyster (34.62) finished second and third in the 300m dash. They now rank ninth and 10th on the NDSU all-time list.

Bison throwers
Kaden Pastian and
Zack Ramos finished second and third in the shot put, with Pastian throwing 56-03.25 (17.15m) and Ramos at 56-00.50 (17.08m).

Competing unattached, redshirt freshman Jonah Dafoe posted an indoor 800m personal-best of 1:55.03.
