
Bison Track & Field to Open 2024 Outdoor Season at UTSA Invitational

The North Dakota State University women's and men's track & field teams will open the 2024 outdoor season at the UTSA Invitational in San Antonio, Texas, this Friday, March 15, and Saturday, March 16.
The meet will be held at Park West Athletics Complex, beginning with the hammer throw, shot put, javelin, 3000m steeplechase, and 5000m on Friday. All remaining events will be contest on Saturday.
Friday will start with the women's hammer throw and men's shot put at 2 p.m., with the distance events scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. On Saturday, field events start at 11 a.m. and track events at 2 p.m.
Both the Bison men and women were voted the preseason favorites to win The Summit League's 2024 outdoor team championships.
The Bison men and women have both won 14 Summit League outdoor team titles in 15 seasons since joining the league in 2008.
