White Sets NDSU Outdoor Pole Vault Record for Second Straight Day

The North Dakota State men's track & field team competed at four meets on Friday, with sophomore Jarod White breaking the school record in the pole vault for the second straight day to highlight the performances by the Bison.
After clearing 17-04.50 (5.30m) at the Texas Relays on Thursday to set the school record, White vaulted 17-05.50 (5.32m) on Friday at Texas State's Bobcat Invitational for a new NDSU all-time outdoor best.
Jake Arason ran a personal-best 9:00.87 in the 3000m steeplechase at the Stanford Invitational. He is now No. 8 on the NDSU all-time list.
Freshman Michael Haugo went 23-09.50 (7.25m) in the long jump at Stanford, winning his section.
Matt Kraft took sixth place in the javelin at the Texas Relays, throwing 226-6 (69.04m).
Ethan Moe ran a personal-best 3:50.48 to take second place in the 1500m at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic in Hayward, Calif.
Brock Johnsen ran 14.44 in the 110m hurdles at the Texas Relays.
