
Mukurazita, Murdock Highlight Bison Men at NDSU Spring Classic

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men's track & field team hosted the NDSU Spring Classic on Friday afternoon at the Terrence Dahl and Donna Beres Track Complex.
Freshman Carlton Mukurazita won the triple jump with a leap of 49-01.50 (14.97m) – a mark that would rank him eighth in NDSU outdoor history if it had not been over the allowable wind limit. Lorenzo Andrews recorded a personal-best of 47-00.75 (14.34m) in the triple jump for second place in the meet.
Jayden Murdock ran a personal-best 10.49 in the 100m dash, ranking 10th-fastest in NDSU history.
Freshman Jayden Williams ran 21.73 to win the 200m dash, Murdock was third in 21.89, and Blake Boyster was fourth in 21.91.
Competing unattached, Zach McGlynn won the long jump with a mark of 23-10 (7.26m). Freshmen Michael Haugo (23-08.25 / 7.22m) and Williams (23-07.50 / 7.20m) placed second and third.
Bryce Enerson clocked a career-best 14.49 to win the 110m hurdles. Khamarly Holmes won the 400m hurdles in 53.91. Boyster won the 400m dash in 49.46.
In his first meet since 2022 due to injury, Sam Roller threw a personal-best 200-8 (61.18m) to win the javelin. Unattached Bison Kaden Pastian won the hammer throw with a personal-best mark of 201-9 (61.51m).
Braden Brown cleared 6-06.25 (1.99m) to win the high jump. Cam Landis won the shot put with a throw of 55-11.25 (17.05m).
Jacob Van Dusseldorp cleared 15-9 (4.80m) to take first in the pole vault.
Unattached Bison Hunter Klimek claimed first in the 1500m in 3:57.99.
