AZUSA, Calif. – Following a record-breaking indoor season that saw her capture the North Dakota State University indoor 400m dash record, Bison senior Nell Graham broke the outdoor school record in the 400m on Saturday to headline a day of strong performances by the NDSU women's track & field team.

Graham clocked a record time of 52.57 at the Bryan Clay Invitational, breaking Ashley Tingelstad's 2014 school record of 52.87 set 10 years ago this week. That time ranks Graham among the top 30 in the NCAA this season.

NDSU's Allie Niska ran a lifetime-best 54.30 in the 400m dash, beating her previous best by more than one second. She is now No. 9 in NDSU outdoor history.

Junior Makenna Vollmer jumped a personal-best 20-05.00 (6.22m) in the long jump at the Beach Invitational, ranking fourth-best in NDSU outdoor history.

Kaci Cooper cut more than a second off her previous best in the 400m hurdles, running 1:00.16 at the Bryan Clay Invitational to rank eighth all-time at NDSU.

Freshman Joy Nnantah had a personal-best triple jump of 40-06.75 (12.36m) to rank 10th all-time at NDSU.

Competing unattached, NDSU's Grace Emineth set a new outdoor PR of 40-10.25 (12.45m) in the triple jump at the Beach Invitational. Emineth also posted a mark of 20-01.50 (6.13m) in the long jump, giving the Bison two women over 20 feet on the same day.

Kendra Kelley, Bailee Dierks, Niska and Graham teamed up to run 3:39.11 to win the 4x400m relay at the Bryan Clay Invitational, falling just outside the NDSU Top 10.

Salmata Korgho took sixth place in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.77. Dierks was 10th in 13.95.

Jacee Johannsen cleared an outdoor personal-best of 12-4 (3.76m) in the pole vault at the Beach Invitational.
