NDSU Women’s Golf Finishes in Sixth at Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate

PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – Norah Roberts fired the lowest 36-hole total in program history to finish second as the North Dakota State women's golf team finished in sixth place at the Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club on Wednesday afternoon. The tournament was shortened to 36-hole event after rain cancelled the final round.
Roberts (69-71--140) paced the Bison with a career-best second place finish after posting a career-low 69 (-2) in the opening round before carding an even 71 in the second round. The Caledonia, Wis., native finished with a career-best 36-hole total of 140, which is the lowest in Bison history.
Elise Hoven (74-74--148) finished tied for 29th place with a career-low two round total of 148, while Catherine Monty (80-72--152) came in tied for 49th place after moving up 33 spots on the leaderboard on day two. Madi Hicks (75-78--153) and Leah Skaar (77-76--153) closed out the group both tied for 57th place.
Cora Larson (73-79--152), who competed as an individual, finished tied for 49th place with a career-low two round total of 152.
As a team, the Bison (295-293--588) recorded a sixth-place finish in the 19-team tournament. The 36-hole total of 588 marks the lowest for NDSU program history. High Point (290-284--574) finished in first place.
