SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State senior cross country runner Jake Arason has been named the Summit League Peak Performer of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
 
Arason took first place at the MSUM Dragon Twilight on Sept. 13, clocking 17:51.3 for the six-kilometer race, which equates to 4:47/mile pace.
 
This is Arason's second career Summit League weekly honor in cross country.
 
The Bison will compete at the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by Minnesota this Friday, Sept. 20.
