FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State soccer wraps up the home schedule for the 2025 season, as the Bison welcome in Summit League opponent Kansas City on Thursday, October 16. The Bison and Roos are set for a 6 p.m. kickoff at Dacotah Field.

Series History
North Dakota State and Kansas City will meet for the 12th time in series history on the soccer pitch. NDSU holds a 6-2-3 lead in the series, including a 1-0 win last year in Kansas City. The Bison are 3-2-1 against the Roos at Dacotah Field, with the teams tying 1-1 in the last meeting in Fargo in 2023. NDSU is also 3-2-1 against the Roos since Kansas City re-joined the Summit League during the 2020-21 academic year.

North Dakota State picked up a 1-0 victory over Kansas City on a Sunday afternoon at Durwood Soccer Stadium.

The Bison took the lead in the second half, as
Hannah Arnold scored her second career goal by knocking in a rebound from close range in the 56th minute.

Morgan Russmann forced a turnover at the edge of the Kansas City penalty area and then fired a shot to the far side of the goal. Maddie Sibbing stopped the effort, but the rebound went straight to Arnold, who tapped it in for the game's only goal.

The Bison outnumbered Kansas City 11-7 in shots. The Roos had just one shot on goal, which came in the 73rd minute and was stopped by
Payton Mulberry.

Soc-toberfest
We will be closing out the regular season in festive fashion, celebrating Soc-toberfest at Dacotah Field. The first 150 fans will receive an exclusive NDSU color–changing mug, which can be filled at the concessions stand with a root beer float! Enjoy brats, pretzels and of course sauerkraut.

Looking Ahead
North Dakota State will hit the road and head to the Twin Cities for the first of two games to wrap up the regular season. The Bison will begin the road swing at St. Thomas on Sunday, October 19. Kickoff between NDSU and the Tommies is set for 1 p.m. at South Field.
