Seven Bison Named to Associated Press FCS All-America Team

FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State had seven players named to the Associated Press FCS All-America Team announced Tuesday, Dec. 16.
NDSU's first-team selections were center Trent Fraley, right guard Griffin Empey and wide receiver Bryce Lance.
Bison quarterback Cole Payton, offensive tackle Beau Johnson, linebacker Logan Kopp and kicker Eli Ozick were named to the second team.
Payton and NDSU return specialist Jackson Williams both earned honorable mention as all-purpose players. Bison defensive linemen Keenan Wilson and Toby Anene were also honorable mentions.
North Dakota State finished the season 12-1 overall and won its 12th Missouri Valley Football Conference championship with an 8-0 record in league play.
