BROOKINGS, S.D. – The NDSU debut of sophomore Kaleb Foltz headlined the performances of the Bison men's track & field team at the season-opening SDSU Holiday Open on Friday.
Foltz, a transfer from Minnesota State, won the 800m in his Bison debut with a time of 1:51.04, ranking seventh in NDSU indoor history.
Jonah Dafoe took second in 1:52.40.

Tyler Milkes won the 200m dash in 21.94.
Kaden Pastian won the shot put with a throw of 58-04.75 (17.80m), and freshman Paul Hoekman took fourth at 53-08.50 (16.37m).
Bison freshmen Joshua Kyei-Baffour (8.02) and Chris Hilton (8.11 in prelims) finished third and fifth in the 60m hurdles for their collegiate debuts. Kyei-Baffour is now No. 10 on the NDSU all-time list.
Jack Packer was the runner-up in the weight throw with a mark of 58-05.75 (17.82m).
Thomas Huneke placed fourth with a big personal-best of 56-10.75 (17.34m).
