LONG BEACH, Calif. – The North Dakota State men's track & field team wrapped up three days of competition in southern California with the Beach Invitational on Saturday.
Redshirt freshman
Adam Dugger moved up to No. 3 all-time at NDSU in the triple jump, leaping a personal-best 50-08.75 (15.46m). He ranks among the Top 40 in the NCAA this season.
Zach McGlynn took second place in the high jump at the Beach Invitational, clearing 6-11 (2.11m).
Bison senior
Jacob Van Dusseldorp recorded the third-best pole vault performance of his career, clearing 16-08.25 (5.09m).
Zack Ramos posted a season-best mark of 59-01.25 (18.01m) in the shot put to place fourth.
Jack Packer threw a personal-best 54-02.75 (16.53m) in the shot put.
Senior
Hunter Merkley placed sixth in the long jump with a mark of 23-08.25 (7.22m).
Brock Johnsen (14.36) finished sixth, and
Blake Nyenati (14.47) took seventh in the 110m hurdles at Long Beach.
