OXBOW, N.D. – Sophomore Lily Vincelli earned her first individual tournament title to help the Bison to their fourth consecutive NDSU Invitational victory on Wednesday afternoon.

Vincelli (68-75--143) bested her career-low by 22 strokes to finish as the only individual in the 25-golfer field below par. Notching a +3 on the day, Vincelli ended the 36-hole event at -1 to secure her first individual win as a Bison.

Norah Roberts (69-76--145) and Madi Hicks (71-79--150) held their positions to round out the top three of the tournament. Roberts was -1 through the front nine and held on to finish the tournament as runner up at +1. Hicks was +7 on the day to finish the event in a tie for third at +6.

Hannah Dunk (75-78--153) and Avery Bartels (76-77--153) finished within the top 10 in a tie for eighth at +9. Both golfers were even through the front nine with one birdie, with Dunk finishing the round at +6 and Bartels at +5.

Jeri Lafleche (78-77--155) ended just outside the top 10 in a tie for 12th place. Lafleche recorded two birdies in the front nine to help lift her three spots and finish +5 in the second round and +11 overall.

Cora Larson (76-86--162) and Bella Leonhart (85-88--173) round out the Bison golfers. Larson shot +14 on the day to finish in 16^th at +18. Leonhart was +16 in the final round to end in 23rd place at +29.

NDSU (283-306--589) secured their home tournament after shooting +18 in the second round. As a team, the Bison ended the event at +13 and led the tournament by 15 strokes, their second largest victory margin in NDSU Invitational history. South Dakota (294-310--604) finished in second place at +28 overall, and North Dakota (299-329--628) in third at +52 overall.

The Bison will return to action at the Yellowstone Intercollegiate hosted by the Montana Bobcats at Riverside Country Club on September 15-16.
