NDSU Women’s Basketball Receiving Votes in Latest Associated Press Top 25 Poll

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State women's basketball team is receiving votes in the latest Associated Press Top 25 Poll, the organization announced on Monday morning.

The Bison (16-2, 5-0 Summit) have won each of their last 14 games and started Summit League play with a 5-0 mark the for the first time in program history after topping South Dakota State. NDSU joins North Carolina, Illinois, Notre Dame, Georgia, Oklahoma St., Iowa St., Rode Island, Syracuse, NC State, Fairfield, Minnesota and Utah receiving votes this week. UConn holds the top spot in the poll with an 18-0 overall record and 30 first place votes.

The Bison are currently slotted No. 42 in the latest NCAA NET rankings, which is the highest in the Summit League. NDSU has also been ranked as high as No. 7 in the College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll this season.

The Bison will be back in action at St. Thomas on Wednesday night. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
