Paul Olson has 3,076 points to sit second in the heptathlon standings.

McGlynn (Stephen, Minn.) posted the top marks in the heptathlon field for the long jump, shot put and high jump. He clocked 7.26 in the 60m dash, jumped 23-06.25 (7.17m) in the long jump, threw a personal-best 44-00.00 (13.41m) in the shot put, and capped the day by clearing 6-10.25 (2.09m) in the high jump.

Olson (Oxbow, N.D.) ran 7.09 in the 60m dash, posted marks of 22-00.25 (6.71m) in the long jump and 40-01.50 (12.23m) in the shot put, and went 6-09.00 (2.06m) in the high jump for an indoor PR.

McGlynn and Olson will conclude the heptathlon with the final three events on Saturday, while the rest of the Bison men's track & field team will compete at the UND Open in Grand Forks, N.D.
