Last Season vs. Oral Roberts
NDSU fell in the regular season finale to Oral Roberts 1-0 after the match was delayed late in the contest due to lightning and weather.
Morgan Russmann nearly put NDSU in front in the 25th minute, as her header hit the right post before being cleared away. The Golden Eagles took the lead in the 35th minute, as Precious Edosa headed a free kick past Payton Mulberry, who got a piece of the shot but not enough to keep it out of the goal.
Chloe Birch and Tyreese Zacher had shots on target in the second half, but NDSU was unable to find an equalizer before weather stopped play in the 81st minute. After the restart, neither team had a shot.
Amaya Hits 6K
On Sunday, Amaya Garrett surpassed Roxy Roemer (5974) and Megan Dean (5940) to move into fourth in minutes played for NDSU field players at 6,001. She has played all but 119 minutes in her career.
Mulberry Climbs Charts
During the first week of Summit League play, Payton Mulberry made 11 saves against South Dakota, setting a new career high for the fifth-year keeper.
In recent weeks, Mulberry has moved up the charts in career saves and shutouts, with cleansheets kept against South Dakota State and Omaha.
Mulberry has surpassed Tara Sweeney (135) for eighth all-time on the NDSU saves list, now at 141. She also picked up her 12th career shutout vs. Omaha, surpassing her predecessor Abby Wilkinson (11) for sixth all time.
