THIS WEEK
The North Dakota State women's golf team continues its spring season on the east coast at the El Campeon Collegiate, hosted by Lehigh at the Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida on Monday and Tuesday.
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
The El Campeon Collegiate will be a two-day, 54-hole tournament. The event will begin with the first two rounds of play on Monday, and finish with the final 18 holes on Tuesday.

TOURNAMENT FIELD
The El Campeon Collegiate will host 11 teams in the competition. Along with the Bison and hosts Lehigh, the teams in the field include Illinois-Chicago, Bellarmine, Navy, Bethune-Cookman, South Carolina Upstate, North Dakota, Longwood, Bucknell, and Providence College.
THE COURSE
Played at the historic Mission Inn Resort, the tournament will be played on the namesake El Campeón course. Originally designed in 1917 by architect George O'Neil, the 18-hole championship course is renowned for its challenging terrain and play that requires strategic shot taking. A proud Florida Historic Golf Trail member, the El Campeón course is a par-72 that sprawls a yardage of 7,015 from the back tees.
BISON AT THE EL CAMPEON COLLEGIATE
This will be NDSU's first appearance at the El Campeon Collegiate in its inaugural year.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bison enter the El Campeon Collegiate following a fourth-place finish at the spring season-opening Soboba Springs Classic.
Madi Hicks was the highest placing NDSU golfer for the event, finishing in tenth in the 58-golfer field.
BISON COMPETING
NDSU will take all eight golfers on the roster down to Florida for the tournament. The 5-score-4 lineup will include
Madi Hicks,
Avery Bartels,
Norah Roberts,
Cora Larson, and
Hannah Dunk.
Jeri Lafleche,
Lily Vincelli, and
Bella Leonhart will be competing as individuals.
ON THE LINKS
- Madi Hicks enters the El Campeon Collegiate after picking up her second top 10 finish of the season. The Senior currently leads the team with the lowest 54-hole score of the season of 217 and holds an average of 75.12 through 17 rounds.
- Lily Vincelli returns to the lineup for her third event of the season. Vincelli recorded her first career win earlier at the NDSU Invitational and shares the lowest round of the fall of 68 (-4).
LOOKING AHEAD
Following the El Campeon Collegiate, the Bison will take two full weeks off before heading to Camarillo, California for the SoCal Spring Invitational. Hosted by Morehead State, the tournament will take place at Sterling Hills Golf Club on March 8-10.
