FARGO, N.D. – For the second time this season, the North Dakota State women's basketball team is receiving votes in the latest Associated Press Top 25 Poll, the organization announced on Monday morning.
The Bison (22-2, 11-0 Summit) have won each of their last 20 games after picking up road wins at Kansas City and Omaha last week. NDSU joins Minnesota, Rhode Island, Georgia, Iowa State, Illinois, Richmond, NC State and Fairfield receiving votes this week. UConn holds the top spot with a 25-0 overall record and all 31 first-place votes.
NDSU is currently slotted No. 40 in the latest NCAA NET rankings, which is the highest in the Summit League. The Bison were also ranked No. 1 in the College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll last week for the first time in program history.
