Kyei-Baffour Posts 110m Hurdles Breakthrough at Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – North Dakota State freshman hurdler Joshua Kyei-Baffour posted a breakthrough performance on Wednesday to lead the Bison men's track & field team at the Gary Wilson Invite.
Kyei-Baffour (Rochester, Minn.) ran a season-best 13.69 to win the 110m hurdles at Minnesota, moving up to third-fastest in school history. He now ranks 32nd in the NCAA this season. Bison sophomore Brooks Turner took third in 14.00.
Jarod White won the pole vault at 16-6 (5.03m).
NDSU freshman Ryder Bickett won the javelin with a throw of 197-8 (60.25m), and Daniel Severud took third at 190-4 (58.02m).
Aiden Krause threw a personal-best 175-1 (53.38m) to finish second in the discus, ranking eighth on the NDSU all-time list. Kaden Pastian placed fourth at 171-5 (52.25m).
The NDSU men won the 4x100m relay with Tyler Milkes, Jeran McNichols, Chris Hilton and Jayden Murdock running 40.86.
Freshmen Otto Anderson (53.58) and Joshua Beil (53.78) finished third and fourth with personal-bests in the 400m hurdles.
Milkes led the Bison men in the 200m with a personal-best time of 21.38.
Paul Hoekman placed third in the invitational shot put, throwing 55-09.25 (17.00m). Kaden Pastian placed sixth in the hammer throw with a mark of 200-0 (60.97m).
Zach McGlynn and Andrew Berg both cleared 6-08.75 (2.05m) in the high jump.
