
Dugger’s Triple Jump Headlines NDSU Performances Saturday

The North Dakota State men's track & field team competed at three meets on Saturday, with Adam Dugger's season debut in the triple jump highlighting the performances of the Bison men.
Dugger won the triple jump at the SMU Invitational in Dallas with a personal-best 51-03.50 (15.63m). He is now No. 2 in NDSU history and No. 42 in the NCAA this season.
NDSU's Reece Grosserode was the runner-up in the triple jump with a mark of 49-06.50 (15.10m).
At the Oregon State High Performance Meet in Corvallis, Ore., Kaleb Foltz (1:48.87) and Ethan Moe (1:49.15) finished 1-2 in the 800m. Carl Rekow (1:50.97) and Quinn Roehl (1:51.15) both posted personal-bests in the event.
Kaden Pastian led a sweep of the top three places in the shot put by the Bison men, winning with an outdoor PR of 59-10.50 (18.25m). Freshman Paul Hoekman recorded a personal-best 57-0 (17.37m) for second. Josiah Zilmer threw 55-06.25 (16.92m) for the second-best mark of his career.
The Bison men also placed three in the top six of the javelin at Oregon State. Ryder Bickett was third at 196-10 (59.99m), Daniel Severud was fifth at 193-7 (59.02m), and Zach Lilly was sixth at 191-11 (58.51m).
In Dallas, freshman Joshua Kyei-Baffour took third in the 110m hurdles with a time of 13.92. Freshman Trey Knoke clocked a season-best 14.34 for fifth.
Freshman Otto Anderson ran a personal-best 53.08 in the 400m hurdles to place second, and Ramon Duran clocked a season-best 53.19 for third.
Aaron Cummings cleared 16-04.75 (5.00m) to take second in the pole vault at SMU.
At the Cobber Open in Moorhead, Gabe Miles won the 400m dash in a personal-best 48.14.
