Cummings, Goss, Rekow, Roehl Post All-Time Top Five Performances

Aaron Cummings, Brady Goss, Carl Rekow and Quinn Roehl each posted performances that rank among the top five in school history as the North Dakota State men's track & field team opened the outdoor season at four meets on Friday.
Cummings cleared a personal-best 17-04.50 (5.30m) in the pole vault at LSU's Battle on the Bayou. He is now No. 2 in NDSU outdoor history behind only teammate Jarod White.
Goss, a transfer from Concordia-Moorhead, ran 8:49.43 for his NDSU 3000m steeplechase debut at the Stanford Invitational to rank third in NDSU history.
Rekow ran a personal-best 3:46.00 in the 1500m at Stanford, making him fourth-fastest in school history. Roehl ran a personal-best 3:46.67 in the 1500m to rank fifth in NDSU history.
Ethan Moe ran 3:43.96 in the 1500m at Stanford for the second-fastest time of his career. He remains at No. 3 on the NDSU all-time list.
Jacob Knodle clocked 14:22.97 in the 5,000m at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic for the third-fastest time of his career. Ivan Askim finished in a personal-best 14:40.67.
Freshman Carter Reckelberg opened his outdoor season with a mark of 24-7 (7.49m) in the long jump at LSU. He is now No. 11 on the NDSU all-time outdoor list.
Gabe Miles led the NDSU men in the 200m dash at LSU, running 21.64.
Three Bison men went sub-54 in the 400m hurdles for their season debuts at LSU – Ramon Duran (53.52), Otto Anderson (53.86), and Carter Elde (53.94).
Kaden Pastian was the top collegian in the shot put at Texas State's Bobcat Invitational, throwing 58-07.50 (17.87m). Freshman Paul Hoekman threw 55-00.25 (16.77m) for his outdoor Bison debut.
Competition will continue at all four meets on Saturday.
