NDSU Softball’s Boos Named Kwik Star Summit League Peak Performer of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - North Dakota State softball's Mya Boos was named the final Summit League Kwik Star Peak Performer of the Week for the 2026 season, following a dominant week at the plate against South Dakota State.

Boos homered in each game of the series with South Dakota State, hitting four in total, including a pair of grand slams. For the series, Boos was 5-for-10 at the plate, recording a single and four homers. She finished with 11 RBI and also had six runs scored. She closed the week with a 1.700 slugging percentage and 2.200 ops.

Boos hit a solo home run in game one of the series on Thursday, before hitting a grand slam in game two of the series on Friday. She then became the first Bison in the program's 51-year history to homer twice in the same inning, with a two-run shot and a grand slam in the first inning against the Jackrabbits on Saturday, propelling NDSU to a school record 13-run inning.

Tuesday's accolade is the first Summit League Peak Performer honor for Boos in her career. It is the eighth Summit League Peak Performer/Pitcher accolade of the season for NDSU.
