NDSU Soccer Hosts Minnesota on Thursday

FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State soccer continues its home stand on Thursday, as the Bison welcome in Minnesota. Kickoff between the Bison and the Golden Gophers is set for 6 p.m. at Dacotah Field.

Admission & Parking
Admission to all NDSU soccer home matches is FREE. Parking is available in Lot R west of Dacotah Field after 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays and all day on Sunday. Additional parking is available in Fargodome lots C and D.
Series History
The Bison will face the Minnesota for the 10th time in program history and just the second time ever at Dacotah Field. Minnesota has won all nine meetings, including a 1-0 victory at Minnesota in September of 2024.
Last Time vs Minnesota
Minnesota scored an early second-half goal to top NDSU 1-0 at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium.
The Bison held early momentum and nearly took the lead on a Tyreese Zacher header off the crossbar on a corner. Payton Mulberry would make two saves to cap a scoreless first half and had five total.
Minnesota took the lead early in the second half after the restart, as Khyah Harper headed in a cross from close range at the back post.
The Bison would have a pair of chances from Devon Kavanagh stopped in the second half and also saw a shot from Morgan Russmann go just wide.
De Wit Gets the Call Up
NDSU freshman and New Zealand international Amber de Wit has been selected to represent her country at the U20 Women's World Cup in September.
De Wit has been a key part of the youth national team setup for New Zealand, captaining for the U17 New Zealand national team. The Christchurch native has consistently been in the New Zealand squad on the U16, U17 and U19 OFC FIFA Qualifier team.
Mulberry Moves Up on Saves List
In Sunday's game against Marquette, Payton Mulberry moved into ninth for NDSU all-time in saves, surpassing Karli Kopietz (100). Mulberry now sits at 102 career saves.
Home Sweet Home
The Bison have 12 home games on the schedule in 2026, with the most home games for NDSU in program history. NDSU's previous most home games in a season has been 10 on four occasions, the most recent in 2023.
Looking Ahead
North Dakota State will remain at home and welcome in Washington State on Sunday, August 23. The Bison and Cougars are set for a 1 p.m. kickoff at Dacotah Field.
