North Dakota State's punter and holder for all 61 games four straight seasons from 2021 through 2024...Part of two Missouri Valley Football Conference championships and two NCAA Division I FCS national championships as a freshman in 2021 and senior in 2024...Finished fourth in NDSU history for punting attempts (175), yards (7301) and average (41.72).
2024 SEASON (SENIOR): NDSU's punter and holder for PATs and field goals all 16 games...Averaged a career-best 44.0 yards per punt with a long of 71 yards at Southern Illinois...Had eight punts of 50-plus yards, 13 punts downed inside the 20-yard line, 11 fair catches and five touchbacks on the season...Named the MVFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in the Dakota Marker game against South Dakota State averaging 43.8 yards on five punts with two 47-yarders, one out-of-bounds at the SDSU 4 to help limit the Jacks to zero punt return yards...Holder for kicking unit that converted 77 of 77 PATs and 15 of 19 field goals...Earned the Missouri Valley Football Conference Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award.
2023 SEASON (JUNIOR): NDSU's punter and holder for PATs and field goals in all 15 games...Averaged 43.7 yards per punt...Longest punt was 57 yards in the NCAA second round playoff win against Montana State...Six punts of 50-plus yards...Had 12 punts downed inside the 20-yard line with five fair catches and five touchbacks on the season...Executed a fake punt in the NCAA semifinal game at Montana rushing for 18 yards and a first down...Named MVFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in the opening game against Eastern Washington averaging 47.2 yards per punt with three inside the 20-yard line (two inside the 10) and also holding for five PAT conversions...Holder for kicking unit that converted 71 of 72 PATs and 19 of 22 field goals...Also handled 35 kickoffs with 12 for touchbacks...Received the MVFC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.
2022 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Punted in all 15 games...Averaged 40.0 yards per punt...Longest punt was 59 yards in the NCAA semifinal win over Incarnate Word...Had 10 punts of 50-plus yards...Kept opponents inside the 20-yard-line on 24 of 50 punts...Limited returners to 9.2 yards per return with 19 fair catches...Ran a fake punt for 16 yards and a first down against North Dakota...Holder for kicking unit that converted 67 of 67 PAT attempts and 10 of 13 field goals...Named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference Honor Roll.
2021 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Punted in all 15 games...Averaged 40.2 yards per punt...Longest punt was 53 yards in the NCAA championship game against Montana State...Had four punts of 50-plus yards...Pinned 18 punts inside the 20 with only two touchbacks on 50 attempts...Helped limit Bison opponents to just 5.87 yards per return...Also had 22 kickoffs with five touchbacks and an average of 62.7 yards per attempt...Executed one fake punt rushing for 18 yards and a first down against South Dakota to extend a touchdown-scoring drive in the third quarter.
2020-21 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Member of the Bison program, but did not play in any games...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2020 from Sherwood (Ore.) High School...Three-year letterman under coach Greg Lawrence...Part of an 8-3 conference championship team his senior year...Two-time all-conference first team kicker...Honorable mention all-conference punter...Selected to kick in the 2020 Les Schwab All-Star Game...Went 8 of 19 on field goals and converted 116 of 126 PAT kicks over his career...Averaged 37.8 yards per punt his senior year...Two-year letterwinner in baseball...Also participated in soccer.
