2022 SEASON (JUNIOR): Made his collegiate debut in the season-opener against Drake...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll and earned the MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award.

2021 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Member of the Bison football program, but did not play in any games...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll and earned the MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award.

2020-21 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Member of the Bison football program, but did not play in any games...Named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference Honor Roll.

2019 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Enrolled at North Dakota State University for the 2019-20 season, but was not a member of the football team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2019 from Valley City High School...Four-year letterwinner and three-year starter for the Hi-Liners under coach Scott Roerich...Two-time team captain...Played right tackle, right guard and defensive end...Had 10 sacks his senior year...Second team all-conference honoree...Three-time wrestling state qualifier...Also part of a state-qualifying 4x100-meter relay team...Had a time of 11.87 seconds in the 100-meter dash.

PERSONAL: Graduated from NDSU in May 2024 majoring in social science education and history with a minor in political science...Son of Matthew and Nicole Powers...Has a brother, Shayne.
