2022 SEASON (JUNIOR): Played in the season-opener against Drake...Credited with two tackles, one solo and one assisted...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll and earned the MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award.

2021 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Member of the Bison football program, but did not participate in any games...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll and earned the MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2019 from Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton High School...Three-year letterwinner in football...Two-year starter...Team captain his senior year...Played linebacker and running back for coach Anthony Soderberg...Part of a state semifinal team in 2016...Three-time academic all-conference honoree...Class valedictorian...Three-time state qualifier in track and field...Ran on section championship 4x400 and 4x800 relay teams...Also a section placewinner in wrestling.

PERSONAL: Graduated from NDSU in December 2023 with a bachelor's degree in computer engineering...Son of James and Robbin Taves...Has a brother, Steven, and a sister, Ashley.
