1988 SEASON (SENIOR): Started all 10 regular season games...Led the team with 27 receptions and was second with 343 receiving yards...Career-high six catches and 89 yards in the win at Northern Colorado.
1987 SEASON (JUNIOR): Finished second in receiving with 16 grabs for 208 yards and two TDs...Season-high six receptions and 59 yards against St. Cloud State...Hauled in a four-yard scoring pass against Mankato State three second before the end of the first half to give the Bison a 14-14 tie at intermission...His 27-yard TD reception the next week against Northern Colorado iced a 43-21 Bison victory.
1986 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Second on the team in receptions with 12 as he saw action in all 10 games while splitting time with Tommy Gleason...Averaged 13.3 yards per catch....Caught three passes for 33 yards against Northern Colorado for season highs.
1985 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Saw action in all 11 games and collected a pair of starts when injuries forced the Bison to shuffle Myles Bosch to quarterback...Caught three passes during the regular season including two against St. Cloud State.
1984 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the 1984 season as a redshirt.
PLAYOFFS: Started all four playoff games in 1988...Made two catches for 22 yards in the opening round win over Augustana (S.D.)...Had three catches for 30 yards in the semifinal win over Sacramento State...Played in all three playoff games in 1986, catching three passes tor 25 yards...Had two of those catches for 22 yards against Central State of Ohio...Played in the three playoff games in 1985 but did not catch a pass.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played high school ball at North High School in Fargo where he was a wide receiver and safety...Started for two seasons and had outstanding success...Caught 36 passes for 568 yards and six TDs as a junior and hauled in 71 passes for 1,198 yards and 13 TDs his senior season...Named all-conference both seasons and named to the All-American Prep football team as a senior...His senior team finished 7-2 and was a state playoff quarterfinalist...As a defender, he intercepted six passes over two years...His outstanding senior year came after a summer accident that found him losing one finger and damaging two others...Lettered twice in both basketball and golf for North High.
