High School: Graduated in 2006 from Stephen-Argyle Central High School...Three-year starting guard and three-time all-conference pick under coach Bryce Lingen...Averaged 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists as team captain his senior year...Scored a game-high 21 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer, in the closing seconds of the Section 8A championship game to send Stephen-Argyle to its first-ever state boys’ basketball tournament in 2006...Finished that year with a 29-2 record...Set school records for points and steals in a career...Also a four-year letterman in football, where he was part of 41 straight wins and three state 9-man championships...Set a school record for most pass interceptions in a season as a defensive back and was all-state at quarterback...Academic all-state with a 4.0 GPA, and served as student council president.
