2007 SEASON: Top finisher for NDSU in all four meets he competed in...had three top 15 finishes, including a 3rd place finish at the North Dakota State Invitational...missed three meets due to injury...Finished 31st at theWest Region Championships.

2006 SEASON: Competed in five meets for North Dakota State... Finished 11th and ran a season-best 26:45.68 at the Bison Invitational... Placed 27th at both the Division I independent championships in Fort Wayne, Ind., and the USATF West Regional Championships in San Francisco, Calif.

2005 SEASON: Raced in the first and the final competitions of the season... Placed fifth at the Dragon Open (9/2) with a 26:40.38... In the season finale, finished in 15th place with a 25:55.79 at the Division I independent championships (10/29) in Corpus Christi, Texas to help the Bison to a third-place team result.

2004 SEASON: Redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: Six-time state champion while at Harvey (N.D.) High School... Captured the state crowns in the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 as a junior, while winning the 400 and repeating in the 800 and 1,600 as a senior... Named Class B Most Outstanding Track Athlete in 2004... Holds school records in the 800, 1,600 and 3,200... Guided Harvey to a team championship at the state meet in 2004... Four-year letterwinner in track & field, basketball and football... Two-time team MVP in track and basketball, once as a wide receiver on the football squad... Earned all-state honors on the gridiron... Captained all three sports as a senior.

PERSONAL: Son of Willy and Karen Schilling... Family includes two older brothers, Nick and Matt... Majoring in exercise science.
