2003-2004 Season (Junior): All-conference performer in both cross country and track for the Bison... Saw limited action in 2003 cross country season due to illness... Placed 22nd at 2003 NCC cross country meet... Indoor conference champion in the mile and the 3,000... Placed second at the conference outdoor meet in the 1,500 and 3,000... Member of the 3,200 relay squad which won at the Drake Relays (8:57.62)... 2002-2003 Season (Sophomore): 7th place at North Central Conference cross country meet and 23rd at the North Central Regional... Placed in the top 10 in four other meets... NCC Indoor champion as a member of the 3,200 meter relay team... Set personal records in the 1,500 (4:35.79) and the 3,000 (10:12.69) during the outdoor season... 2001-2002 Season (Freshman): Competed in six cross country races for the Bison including a 26th place finish at the North Central pre-Region held at Nebraska-Omaha... Third place finish in the 1,000 at the NCC Indoor Conference Championships... Â

High School: An all-state performer since eighth grade, Klein broke all of O’Gorman High School’s cross country records and was runner-up in the state meet as a junior... Two-time state champ in the 3,200 meters on the track and posted the best time in any class each year... Daughter of Pat and Paulette Klein... Has two brothers, Todd and Tyler, and one sister, Wendy Haley... College major is mass communication... Prep coaches were Doug Lindner and Art Hagg.
