2006-07 SEASON
Cross Country (Junior): Ran in all seven meets for the Bison... Had three top 10 finishes, including her season-best finish of 18:34.48, good enough for fourth at the Bison Invitational... Placed eighth at the Iowa State Open with a 19:43.0 time... Finished 10th at the Division I independent championships, helping lead NDSU to a fifth place finish.
2005-06 SEASON
Cross Country (Sophomore): Competed in every race for the cross country team... Moved up to the team's No. 3 runner at the Roy Griak Invitational... Concluded the year with a 48th-place result at the Division I independent championships held in Corpus Christi, Texas... Indoor Track & Field (Sophomore): Set a personal record in the mile with a 5:11.89 at the University of Nebraska (2/4)... A week later, established her career best in the 3,000 with a 10:19.99 at Iowa State (2/11)... Outdoor Track & Field (Sophomore): Finished just shy of the school's top 10 list in the 5,000 with a 17:37.06 result at famed Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon... Scored the second-best time in school history in the steeplechase on her first attempt in the event, an 11:15.10 at the Howard Wood Relays... Placed fourth in the steeple at the Division I independent championships and added a third-place finish in the 5,000 to help the Bison to a team title.
2004-05 SEASON
Cross Country (Freshman): Ran in all six meets for the Bison during the cross country season... Finished 10th at the Jackrabbit Open... Placed 38th at the Division I independent championships in which the Bison placed third as a team... Indoor Track & Field (Freshman): Won the Bison Classic 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:45.15... Placed second in the 1,500 and third in the 800 at the Cobber Duals... Outdoor Track & Field (Freshman): Cut her 5,000 time down to 18:46.36 at the Simpson Twilight where she placed sixth.
2003-04 SEASON: Redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a member of state-record setting 3,200 meter relay team at
PERSONAL: Daughter of Gary and Pam Nagel... Has two sisters, Nikki and Nessa, and one brother, Tony... Majoring in zoology and anthropology.
